Case Study 1

Challenge

Advanced markets face a shortage of contractors and skilled workers to manage equipment repairs, upgrades and new investments, while the decline of domestic manufacturers capable of partial upgrades or repairs is limiting options for machinery introduction.

Our Approach

We looked beyond promoting foreign machinery and imagined new trading frameworks that deliver win–win outcomes for both buyers and sellers, including strategic partnerships and acquisitions. We crafted a business strategy that balanced price with technology, reliability and supply continuity, resulting in a highly feasible project plan.

Value Added

Such projects demand not only industry insight but also technical credibility and practical coordination. By partnering with specialists across fields, we helped the client devise a plan that was both realistic and reliable.

Launching a Dedicated Corrugated Packaging Facility

Background

In emerging markets, end-users — such as food, beverage and consumer goods manufacturers — sometimes consider building streamlined packaging facilities that handle only the specific packaging formats their businesses require. Pursuing such a project means that, once the plant is operational, existing transactions with packaging suppliers will be interrupted or markedly reduced, so these firms cannot simply consult their current suppliers. Moreover, because these projects bring challenges beyond the company’s usual remit, trustworthy external guidance is indispensable from the conceptual stage.

Our Perspective

Drawing on experience in containerboard procurement, plant engineering, equipment procurement, commissioning, operations and materials supply, our managing director assembled the right team and translated the client’s business concept into a tangible project.

Value Added

Success required the convergence of knowledge, relationships and practical drive. By leveraging our leader’s experience and extensive network, we enabled the project to advance across multiple domains and reach practical fruition.
